According to an inside source, the Haiku Liberation Organization has taken responsibility for posting a demand on the development list, using a copy of the operating system as a hostage.
In addition to unleasing a shockwave of terror by posting to the mailing list, the HLO claims it has downloaded a copy of Haiku and burned it into a compact disk prison.
If their demands aren't met, the HLO will place the CD into a waste bin.
The most sensible demand was that Haiku users discontinue the perverted practice of using naked CDs. Its about time someone did something about the crime of fondling naked CDs prior to insertion.
Other demands were puzzling however. Although the HLO demanded that Haiku be compiled in accord with Sharia law, it seems that it is already in place in the form of Haiku Porter.
