Haiku Trashware

Haiku Depot: A good package manager that offers no useful packages to desktop users. Except for Qupzilla and Quassel. Qupzilla is actually necessary because it acts to replace the broken Web Positive that comes with the official version of Haiku. Quassel is simply an IRC alternative to Vision.

Activity Monitor: You can see what the problems are but do nothing to resolve them.

Character Map: Unclear why anyone would use this.

Cody Cam: The camera does not work.

Debugger: Not useful to desktop users.

Deskcalc: Does simple math. No advantage here.

Devices: Information only, but no way to apply it.

Disk Probe: News Flash: Desktop users don't want a master boot record hex editor.

Disk usage: Very slow. I just want to know how many gigs I have available. Doesn't take this long in any other OS.

Expander: Useful if the rest of the OS could be used.

Icon-o-matic: Make icons. Whoopie!

Installer: Reinstall the same useless OS.

Magnify: I can already see I have no applications.

Mail: Presumes to know you want your mail checked and downloaded immediately.

Media Converter: Since the camera is broken, this isn't useful.

Media Player: Outdated VLC. No advantage here.

Midi Player: Where are the midi's?

PE: Good text editor. But I won't miss it either.

People: An address book. Too bad I can't do anything else with the OS to make this convenient to have.

Poor Man: With so many networking issues - I wouldn't waste time using this to serve web pages.

Sound Recorder: Make silent recordings.

Styled Edit: An annoying editor that can't seem to find text.

Terminal: Broken interface that looses profile and keyboard settings under heavy use or change of architecture.

TV: Useless application that displays the bars of an off the air channel.

Vision: IRC client preset to go to Freenode #haiku where you aren't allowed to talk.

Web Positive: Web browser that is broken in the official build. It lacks the ability to save pages, print or store cookies.
